How to find us

Locating Rechullin is easy if you have Sat-Nav, as it is usually found on most good maps.

If you are travelling up via the A9, the best bet for shopping & Petrol is the huge 24hour Tesco in the retail park just North East of Inverness. (Take the Inverness exit off the A9 and head for Nairn/Aberdeen)...it's only a mile or so off the A9. Tesco Inverness takes advanced (online) food orders, so if you want to save time you can order from home and just pick up the shopping at the store, very handy if you are travelling a distance.

Above is the map. Rechullin is approximately 70 miles from Inverness.
Basically head from Inverness towards Ullapool BUT turn left after Garve and head for Achnasheen. Go straight on from there  to Kinlochewe, turn left there and head 10 miles to Torridon, turn right at the junction signposted for Inveralligin and Diabaig, then drive for about 7 miles along narrow winding roads (which goes through Fasag (Now signposted Torridon) village, then up hairpin bends, over a bridge with a waterfall on your right...etc) , until you reach the Inveralligin signpost where you turn left and travel down a steep hill towards loch Torridon and Alligin village. Follow the shore road which effectively heads East (left of the phone box) until you get to the end of the road (Rechullin) where there are 2 houses... Rechullin (the upper house), and Lower Rechullin.

The road down to the lower house is not tarmac'd, but you can park down there near the big boulder where you can turn the car with care.

The West Coast route up to Torridon is quite simple. It's 110 miles approx from Fort William. Head for Skye, but turn right off the A87 onto the A890 (a few miles before Kyle,  if you see the Skye bridge you've probably missed the turn off!). Head towards Lochcarron and then follow the A896 route to Torridon, the last few miles are as above.. The best place for shopping and Petrol en-route on the West Coast is Morrisons at Fort William, though the shop is usually closed after 7pm.
